Our Inspiring Youth
As a teenager in Solano County, I battled with depression while my mother faced her own struggles. During that difficult time, Lorraine Coleman and her family welcomed me into their lives and grounded me in faith. Her mentorship gave me the strength to enlist in the Army, earn my Associate’s Degree, and now prepare to graduate with my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, with applications to graduate school already underway. Along the way, I also became a licensed real estate agent and esthetician, and—most importantly—I have raised my two children in faith. To this day, Lorraine continues to guide and inspire me. Her impact truly changed the course of my life, and I believe that the youth she serves through Straight and Narrow Inc. will experience that same life-changing influence. -Jazzery Williams
